Tulum All-Inclusive Resorts Hotels - This walled, pre-Columbian city is located 80 miles from Cancun in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo and is the site of the Tulum Ruins, a Mayan city built primarily between 1200 A.D. and 1450 A.D. Once the Mayan lookout post of the Mexican Caribbean and today the world’s most well preserved Mayan ruin, the Tulums Ruins are the only Mesoamerican ruin by the ocean and the third most visited Mayan archeological site in Mexico. Tulum cruises often offer shore excursions to these ancient ruins.

As the little town of Tulum welcomes visitors from around the world, it is working to improve its tourist facilities. Visitors can stay in Cancun and make a day trip to Tulum, or they can stay in Tulum itself. Tulum resorts and hotels are overall more rustic, more low key and less expensive than those found in Cancun. Tulum has a “hotel zone” with about 40 small hotels, most of which are really cabanas, lining the beach, and there are a few restaurants offering tasty Mexican cuisine.

Tulum all-inclusive resorts are not as numerous as in neighboring Cancun, but the ones that are here make for a wonderful Tulum vacation experience. The environmentally-aware Blue Tulum Resort and Spa, located in a spectacular setting with lush vegetation and a view of the Tulum ruins, beckons to gourmands with its gourmet all-inclusive package and tantalizing menu. This Tulum resort has 96 deluxe suites, each with an ocean view or a tropical garden overlook, and activities range from Spanish classes to Pilates to SCUBA diving.

The Dreams Tulum Resort and Spa has 433 rooms and is a 5-star Tulum all-inclusive resort and hotel. With six restaurants, ranging from causal to romantic, seven bars, weekly beach parties, a full spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center and some of Mexico’s most breathtaking beaches, the Dreams will make any dream come true.

Hidden Beach Resort is a sumptuous Tulum all-inclusive nudist resort for adults only and has 42 beachfront suites. With stunning views of the Mexican Caribbean, a charming, authentic Mexican décor and understated luxury, Hidden Beach Resort appeals to the discerning Tulum vacationer. Guests enjoy swim-up rooms, unmatched personalized service and delicious cuisine.

Dotted with churches, museums and government buildings from the 16th , 17th and 18th centuries, visiting Oaxaca City is a step back in time and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. The city’s year-round Spring-like climate makes strolling along the elegant, wide avenues, visiting the festive outdoor markets or enjoying a street celebration a delight any time of year.

When considering an Oaxaca City vacation, the lodging options are many, varied and generally reasonably-priced. In fact, there are approximately 150 Oaxaca City hotels, although Oaxaca City all-inclusive hotels and resorts are limited. Instead, most hotels and resorts operate under the European plan in which everything other than the room involves an extra cost.

One of the top Oaxaca City hotels is the Camino Real, an intimate spot situated in the center of the city. With beautiful Colonial architecture, regal fountains, hidden patios, fragrant gardens, tile floors, polished wood beams and arched doorways, this enchanting hotel offers 91 air-conditioned rooms with traditional Mexican furnishings.

Another one of Oxaca’s best hotels is the 5-star Hotel Victoria. This renowned property sits atop a hill overlooking the city and is surrounded by lush gardens. 150 well-appointed rooms, either in one of the villas or in the hotel, are available and are decorated in pastel colors. The hotel’s restaurant, El Tule, offers delicious Mexican cuisine and spectacular views of the city below.

When on an Oaxaca City vacation, another lodging option is the Holiday Inn Express. An award-winning property, this property is not far from the city’s Zocalo (town square) and has 85 cozy rooms with air conditioning, cable TV and data ports. A full breakfast is included in the price of a room. An art gallery featuring Oaxacan artists is an added perk when staying in this convenient Oaxaca City hotel.

Three more of the finest Oaxaca City’s resorts are the 5-star Casa Oaxaca (housed in an 18th century home), the lovely Mision de Los Angles (nestled on 8 acres of gardens) and the beautiful Hostal de La Noria (situated in a Colonial mansion).

A less expensive Oaxaca City hotel is the Fiesta Inn, a centrally-located, 143-room hotel with Mexican hacienda architecture. All rooms come with TV, a full bath and direct dial phones. This hotel also offers a free shuttle to downtown.

Los Cabos Mexico - Earth, Sea & Sky Vacations, the leading provider of luxury vacations in Los Cabos is offering active travelers the opportunity to get off the beaten path of Cabo San Lucas and experience the area's natural beauty with an exciting variety of adventure tours.

While Cabo San Lucas has long been known for incandescent nightlife, star-spangled resorts and magnificent villa rentals, visitors who are willing to venture beyond that shimmering beachfront can encounter the truly wild side of Baja. From desert safaris to diving with hammerheads, Earth, Sea & Sky Vacations (ESSV), the leading provider of luxury vacations in Los Cabos, offers active travelers the opportunity to experience the area’s natural wonder—along with a heart-pounding thrill or two.

Surrounded by miles of stunning desert terrain, the mighty Pacific Ocean and the legendary Sea of Cortez, Los Cabos is an easily accessible Mecca for nature and adventure lovers. In fact, it was the abundance, beauty and mystery of this unique environment that first drew a steady stream of visitors to the sun-drenched tip of Mexico’s Baja Peninsula.

For today’s visitors looking to explore the red hills and giant cacti of the desert outback, ESSV provides a variety of unparalleled off-road adventures. Visitors can hop aboard a Sand Spider buggy, Yamaha Rhino or ATV for a trek off the beaten path through Baja’s trails past working ranchos, enchanting arroyos, secret waterfalls and striking views of the sea. Starting at just $75 per person, these tours include snacks, experienced guides and plenty of good times. Hummer and Jeep caravans (starting at just $135 for up to two persons) kick up the action even further, with scenic routes through the very heart of the Sierra la Laguna mountain range, past magical villages to jaw-dropping overlooks above the Pacific or Sea of Cortez. Following a guide, drivers get to challenge the swooping trails and carved-out curves while savoring vistas that rival the polished prettiness of Cabo’s resorts.

To see Los Cabos from a bird’s-eye perspective, ESSV offers thrill-seekers the chance to bungee-jump over desert arroyos, cruise along a monster zip-line or parasail above Cabo San Lucas Bay while taking in views of Land’s End. And then there’s Wild Canyon’s “Sling Swinger” (from $50 per person); participants head out to the gondola suspended 300 feet above the canyon floor at the oasis of El Tule before being launched on an exhilarating swing ride at speeds in excess of 75 mph.

There are plenty of thrills to be had underwater, as well. Scuba diving in Los Cabos is in a class of its own, with the Sea of Cortez having been described by Jacques Cousteau as “the world’s aquarium.” Home to hundreds of species of sea life, these rich waters are a veritable treasure trove of exotic fish, turtles—and sharks. ESSV has partnered with Manta Scuba Diving to offer visitors the unforgettable opportunity to dive with some of the area’s most enigmatic undersea denizens. Don Hirschaut, ESSV’s president, says, “I’ve had the exceptional opportunity to dive with both giant manta rays and hammerhead sharks in the Sea of Cortez. The experience of being so close to these spectacular creatures is absolutely awe-inspiring.” Divers at the Gordo Banks, a spectacular seamount eight miles off the coast of San José del Cabo, may also have the opportunity to swim alongside enormous whale sharks. Snorkeling trips offer a more accessible, but equally breathtaking, chance to check out the colorful sea life.

While many visitors come to lounge around oceanfront pools while sipping tropical cocktails, those looking for excitement will find plenty of authentic, unforgettable experiences in ESSV’s Los Cabos tours and activities.

About Earth, Sea & Sky Vacations (ESSV)

Specializing in Cabo vacations for over 20 years, ESSV represents over 140 private villa rentals and 50 beachfront resorts throughout Los Cabos. The company’s knowledgeable staff offers an unparalleled level of personalized guest service, customizing a complete vacation experience for each guest.
