The Bahias de Huatulco Mexico Ecotourism Fishing
Fishing is good in the warm waters off of Huatulco, and these waters are not overloaded with fishermen. That's a good formula for tight lines! Sailfish are common in these waters, including black and blue marlin. Dorado, wahoo and other good fighting fish are also found in good numbers. As with many parts of the fishing world, catch and release is common here, and will help allow the fishing population to grow in the future.
Fishing trips can be arranged at the activities desks at most of the larger hotels, and also by heading down to the marina for a first hand look a the boats and skippers.
