Mexicans Right to Vote

U.S.-resident representatives of all Mexican political parties have formed a coalition called "Vamos por el voto" (Going for the vote) to push for the right to cast ballots from abroad in elections in their homeland. The announcement of the coalition's formation was made Sunday at Chicago's "Casa Michoacan," a community center for migrants from that Mexican state, and the group includes dozens of organizations, among them Mexico's three biggest political parties: the leftist PRD; the populist Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI; and the ruling conservative PAN.
