Learn about Sacbeob: stone-paved roads and a part of every Mayan city that has been discovered. Archaeologists have found extensive sacbeobs in the Coba site and surroundings. The longest runs approximately 60 miles from the base of Coba's great pyramid Nohoch Mul to the Mayan settlement of Yaxunan. It is believed that forty sacbeobs passed through Coba at one time.
