Starting a Business in Mexico - Mexico Emprende Expo takes place this weekend August 19th to the 21st, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The Expo will feature free information about resources the Mexican government has put in place to help Mexicans overseas who wish to start a business in Mexico.
It’s well known that thousands of Mexican families are living in the United States and a lot of them send money to family down in Mexico. This money helps their families while stimulating the Mexican economy as well. The Mexican government sees an opportunity for families to use this money to start new businesses. The Expo Mexico Emprende is the ideal place for entrepreneurs to get information about financing, marketing, and training among other topics.
The expo also features: Participation from several State Governors More then 200 booths with more than 500 organizations Cultural program with dance and music Children’s programs with workshops and business simulators Workshops and conferences with celebrities scheduled to attend including:

Jorge Zavala, Director of TechBA Silicon Valley, a start-up company located in San José, California.
