Playa Bacocho Beach is west of Puerto Escondido. This long beach with warm calm waters is divided into three sections by large rock formations. In the surrounding areas you can walk among the abundant vegetation that surrounds the bay.
Playa Carrizalillo Beach os SW of Puerto Escondido. This 460 foot beach has white sand and blue-green waters. The waves are small, making it a good spot for children. |

 Puerto Escondido Extreme Sports - Puerto Escondido has several beaches where you’ll have the opportunity to do solo and tandem parachuting under the guidance of experienced instructors.
Playa Zicatela is located southeast of Puerto Escondido. This long beach has fine sand and a steep slope, making it a good spot to do aquatic sports. Here you’ll find instructors and rental services for parachuting. You also can do skydiving from more than 13,100 feet.
