Puerto Vallarta Mexico allows you to arrive by air, sea or land. On the ground, it is linked to Guadalajara and the rest of the country by the Guadalajara-Compostela-Vallarta Highway, which continues south to Manzanillo, and in the direction of the Guadalajara-Autlan-Vallarta Highway.
Both highways are in excellent condition. Puerto Vallarta benefits from an international airport, where national flights arrive from Mexico City, Guanajuato and Manzanillo. International flights arrive from Toronto, Canada, and Los Angeles, Denver, Oakland, Dallas, San Diego and Chicago, from the United States. Airlines offering service from other Latin American countries include: Mexicana, Aeromexico, American Airlines, Delta, Continental and Alaska Airlines.
There is also a bus station with service from the following bus lines: ETN, Transportes del Pacífico, Zihuatlan, Transportes y Autobuses del Pacífico (TAP) and from Grupo Estrella Blanca: Elite, Futura, Transporte Chihuahuense and Norte de Sonora.

Central de Autobuses (bus station) - The terminal is located at Km 9 along the Puerto Vallarta-Tepic Highway in the Las Mojoneras neighborhood. It is only 14 kilometers (9 miles) north of downtown. Tel. (322) 290-1009
