Visit Riviera Nayarit Mexico - One of the newest developments in Mexico’s resort towns is the region of Riviera Nayarit, along the coastline north of Puerto Vallarta. It’s located just 15 minutes north of the Puerto Vallarta airport. A 2nd airport is planned for the area of El Capomo, further north, which will be available in the next few years.  The "Riviera Nayarit Beaches", six golf courses, eco-tours, all-inclusive resorts and growing luxury condo developments characterize the area.
New at Riviera Nayarit are resort development in Litibu; Mexico’s largest marina on the Pacific side for up to 400 boats; two new Dreams resorts; Riu Palace; a Greg Norman golf course, a second Jack Nicklaus golf course and more.
There are two AAA Five Diamond Hotels in Riviera Nayarit, including the Grand Velas Nuevo Vallarta and the Four Seasons Punta Mita. A St. Regis hotel will be on its way in Fall 2008. There are three AAA Four Diamond Hotels, including the Grand Mayan Wyndham Nuevo Vallarta, the Vallarta Palace and the Casa Las Brisas Punta Mita.
