to serve as your guide. For us, they always send one of there best English speakers.
It's a regular on our school's list of fieldtrips, and it's popular. It's one of few places where spit and polish really means something in Mexico. The reports that come back, coming back from ex-military and non-military alike, are all highly positive. The academy is impressive.
The buildings are well maintained. The grounds are perfect. The ocean view is stunning. The school sits at the south end of the Veracruz Coral Reef System.
Most memorable to many is the historic flag collection in the Administration building. In another building there is a collection of paintings and photos allowing the visitor to see and sense the evolution of the Mexican navy. Mini-museums are everywhere throughout the buildings and grounds.
For engineering officer candidates, the shops are spacious and filled with all manner of ship's equipment.
The library is the academy's flagship. Some of Mexico's finest woodwork is to be found in its stairs and shelving and furniture. And also there is some of Mexico’s most beautiful brass.
